Rosie Harte is a historian, author, and TV presenter

In 2020 Rosie became one of the first historians to join TikTok, using the platform to experiment with how her research could be presented to a new audience through short form video content.

She has since gone on to work with cultural institutions such as the V&A, the National Gallery, and the National Portrait Gallery to present their collections on both TikTok and Instagram Reels. She has also worked with auction houses to demystify the bidding process and promote their sales. Collaborators have included Fellows and Sotheby's.

In 2023 she made the jump to TV work, contributing to the coronation coverage in May and featuring in Sky History's docuseries 'Sex: A Bonkers History' alongside Amanda Holden.

For more information on collaborations and media, see the News page.

Rosie holds an undergraduate degree in art history from the University of Kent (graduating with a first class degree and the Kate Zaks Award for achievement) and is currently completing a postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge (Modern British History with an academic scholarship).

Her debut non-fiction book 'The Royal Wardrobe' published in June 2023 with Headline Publishing

In her spare time Rosie is an ardent fan of motorsport, and loves to read about women's racing history. When she realised how inaccessible much of that information is, she created the Women's Motorsport Archive Project as a hobby.
